If you’re anything like me, you love a good deal. If you’re even more like me, you only go to thrift stores on half off days. If I sound like you, then Vann’s has got something right up our alley: the LIQUIDATION SALE. Comprised mostly of discontinued or overstocked items, there’s a little something for everyone in here, so CHECK IT OUT soon because supplies are limited. Here’s a few of my favorite items:
Coby 40″ 1080p LCD HDTV and TCL 40″ 1080p LCD HDTV
Wait, is that TWO different 1080p LCD 40″ televisions for under $400? Yes. Yes it is. Decisions, decisions, but I don’t think you can make a wrong one here. Both of these televisions, though not from big name brands like Sony or Samsung, have great consumer reviews (and the TCL even comes with a 2 year warranty). Time to get a bigger TV.
International Ocean Aquarium: Papua New Guinea Blu-ray
For under ten bucks you can turn that 40″ television of yours into a 40″ fish tank for you and your friends to enjoy. That’s just cool. Beyond that, real fish tanks are kind of a hassle, but this Blu-ray has all the positive attributes of a high end fish tank without any of the negatives. For example:
- No feeding.
- No dying.
- No explaining to your young children why Goldie is swinging upside down.
- Sweeter fish (we’re talking New Guiniea fish here).
- No chance of flooding your living room.
- No cleaning. (See what I did there? Saved the best for last.)
Sony BRAVIA DVD home theater system
This is a complete 350 Watt 5 speaker (+1 subwoofer) DVD home theatre system. And it’s a Sony. And it’s under 150 dollars. Need I say more? I didn’t think so. Get your living room bumping with this bad boy today.
Ion Computer DJ System
So I’ve never used one of these before, and I am by no means a DJ, but this thing looks awesome, and is 1/3 price. Basically it’s an interface for your computer that you hook up with a simple USB, and it lets you mix and scratch the music you already have on your computer. You can change the pitch and the tempo so songs blend together perfectly and fade between them, loop parts, and even do your own scratching on top of that. Hands down, this is one of the coolest mantoys you can get for fifty bucks.
