Do you want to get inside your favorite football player’s head? Are you dying to know what they’re thinking as they take a water break? Want a taste of their innermost thoughts and desires, hopes and dreams?
Well, now you can, at least for one game. This Sunday at the big game in Hawaii, NFL players will be allowed to Tweet, either from top rated laptops that the league is setting up on the sidelines, or from their own mobile devices before the game and at halftime. The use of Twitter by players is normally prohibited 90 minutes before games through the end of post-game interviews. The NFL said that Tweeting will not continue during the regular season or playoffs.
Players will be able to use the team’s top rated laptops to Tweet with fans and other players, including their opponents. So things could really get heated at the game this Sunday, both on the field and on Twitter. They surely do around here.
