- Prep the viewing arena (aka living room) by clearing off the coffee table and de-cluttering other surfaces so guests have a place to put their food and drinks.
- Arrange throw blankets or pillows on the couch to make people feel comfortable (and well, ok, to cover up stains)
- Dust the TV with a microfiber cloth
- And take out the trash!
