There were plenty of stars at CES this year, and not all of them were electronic. Justin Bieber, 50 Cent, and other famous gadget geeks made appearance at CES Vegas to promote their products. They drew crowds and created buzz for everything from robots to headphones.
Justin Bieber unveiled the mRobo dancing robot from TOSY, a portable speaker that dances to the rhythm of whatever music it pumps out. The mRobo is 18-inches tall and weighs only 3.3 pounds. Like the Biebs, it is sure to be the life of any party.
Justin Timberlake also graced the stage of CES at the Panasonic press conference to announce a new app called MySpace TV, which will let users connect to their MySpace friends through their flat screen TVs. Viewers will be able to see what their friends are watching and make comments or chat about it in real time, either through the flat screen TV or another device. “You rockin’ it out at CES?” Timberlake asked a cheering crowd. Maybe it’s too soon to be saying ‘Bye bye bye’ to MySpace after all.
Several other musical stars were at CES to promote their lines of headphones. 50 Cent showed off his wireless Sync by 50 and wired Street by 50 headphones, which feature professional studio sound. Ludacris presented the latest from the SOUL by Ludacris line, which includes in-ear and on-ear high definition headphones.
