Bosch has a new lineup of dishwashers for 2010. Vann’s customers have selected Bosch for 20 years based on quiet, efficient performance. And through those two decades, incremental performance gains have been made in sound levels, wash performance, and external appearance. And all Bosch dishwashers are Energy Star rated.
Enter 2010, and the new SHX58E15UC model debuts with a great new feature- a separate cutlery tray for your silverware. This removable, nearly flat, 3rd rack sits above the top rack in the new 58 and 68 series Bosch models. It keeps the cutlery spread out, so that they are easily cleaned by a spray arm in the top of the tank. Loading and unloading this rack requires only that you touch the handle of the silverware, so dishes are kept clean as you put them away. There’s a deeper center section of this rack for spatulas, ladles, and the like.
This frees up space in the regular dishwasher racks for additional items. Now that the usual silverware basket doesn’t need to be used (it’s included if you’re a die-hard old-school dishwasher user), there’s more space for plates, pots, and pans. Up to 15 place settings can be washed at a single time.
The SHX58E15UC is a beautiful addition to almost any kitchen. With a stainless steel front and a hidden control panel, it’ll blend in with most stainless appliances of any brand. And, because it’s a Bosch, it’s only 45 dB quiet while washing (an average conversation is around 60 dB to give you an idea).
If you’re even thinking about a new dishwasher, check out the new Bosch models. There’s a model for just about any need, but as for me, I’ll take the SHX58E15UC.
