Hey guys and gals,
I don’t know if you’ve been watching the front page of Vann’s, but you should be. A wicked deal is going on right now, and it ends soon. (November 6th, to be exact.)
We’ve all heard the big news of the industry’s shift to 3DTV. My big holding point here is that I’ve just recently upgraded to HD a few years ago, and it’s hard for me to justify buying yet again all-new components. I mean, we’re talking a new source, cabling, television set, and glasses. Not to mention new movies, this list gets long and expensive quite fast. Well, Vann’s is here to calm your woes, my friends.
Right now, with the purchase of a 46″ or 55″ 3D Sony Bravia, you get not only a $220 instant rebate, but a free PS3 (which is now 3D capable, if you haven’t heard) and two free sets of 3D glasses. Your seriously saving over $900 here. Now, I’m not one to normally just push a deal like this, but these are ridiculous savings.
If you haven’t read into these new TV’s, you probably should. They now ship with built-in WiFi streaming. No longer do Bravia sets need a pricey add-on box for connectivity. They also have 2D to 3D video conversion, which is cool, but can’t replace a video shot in 3D natively. The effects can be controlled through the set and have low through high specifications. Through the effect adjustments you can dial in a good look for your source, and it’s a cool feature to play around with.
All in all, this is a great starter kit for anyone that wants to get in on 3D, or just good bang for their buck. What are your thoughts on 3D? Will you be buying in this year? Have you already bought in? Leave your comments below.
